Welcome to Our New Blog! Here You'll Find Tips & Tricks, Dos & Don'ts, and Neat Factoids About All Things Events-Related.

This is the party planning blog you didn't know you needed. Enjoy! :)

Hello, friends! I'd like to start by saying, welcome to our site and thank you for reading our blog.

Allow me to introduce myself, as the 'P' in the 'JJP.' My name is Pamela and other than my passion for all things events, I also very much enjoy writing and public speaking. I always thrived in these areas from elementary school through university, earning a Bachelor's degree in public communication. Folks are often shocked when I say I love public speaking, as many people have a great disdain for it.

In fact, the number one fear amongst Americans is public speaking, with a fear of dying coming in second place. Think about that; In other words, most people would rather be in the casket than giving the eulogy!

I intend to update this blog weekly, perhaps more, but certainly no less than a weekly basis discussing tips and tricks of event planning, DIY dos and don'ts, savvy saving tips, and whatever else event-related I think of! I, along with the two J's Jennifer and Jonathan embarked on this event planning journey in the winter of 2023/2024 but have collectively been in the events and hospitality industries for a combined over forty years. To say we have seen the good, the bad and the ugly is an understatement (!) so some of what I blog about might be anecdotes from my years working as a bartender at various establishments.

Goals for This Blog

My primary hopes for this blog include:

  • Gaining Followers: Attracting an audience that resonates with our content.

  • Promoting Our Business: Spreading awareness about our services and offerings.

  • Sharing Insights: Revealing valuable tips and "secrets" that can benefit our readers.

Thank You for Reading!

This is P signing off. Until next time, keep in mind: No event is too large or too small. From weddings to backyard bashes, we work with them all!

We are primarily a grassroots business meaning we rely heavily on organic word-of-mouth advertising from past clients and current followers. If you liked my introduction and are looking forward to our weekly blog, subscribe to our site.
